I used to draw quite a bit and paint with acrylics, and recently I got a graphics tablet to try drawing in photoshop. I saw a tutorial that advised to start in grayscale and add color after so that's the point where I'm at now. I am only just started but if anyone has some thoughts or suggestions I would love to hear it. Thanks!

Not much to comment on. Looks like there is a giant hole in her shoulder. Keep posting more and practicing. Cnc will come with a more finished piece.

There are plenty of tutorials on YouTube. The main thing is to learn Photoshop since you already have traditional skills. It's just another tool for your art.

Keep it up.

tbh don't expect people to NOT be assholes on here.

First i suggest you try to learn something from this:

Next here is basic feedback on the drawing itself:

Don't give up if you are truly interested in improving. It takes time and pratice

lol Thanks for the feedback

I'm going to try to work on it more, just have been really busy lately. I will be smoothing out the rough parts don't worry, and ofc adding in more detail. Super rough work in progress. I will check out the link too, thank you.

Don't learn like i did. I just drew with no set goal, googling and youtube replicating techniques from others while not having a solid core to build on while ACTUALLY learning from random tutorials. Although you will make progress it will go too slow. By the time i realized what i was doing wrong i "threw" away 2 years.
Stick to learning methodically if you can and draw every day if you want to get better.

Ask Uncle for help on what to learn first if he will be willing, he is a proper scholar of fine arts.
