Lately, I've been visiting pard and the science subforum since a long time. I regret doing so. I strive to be a person of open mindedness and I aim to allow everybody to their own opinion and express it as such.
Sadly, the subforums have obtained the function to relate your opinion combined with, "and if you think otherwise, you're this-and-that". I took full part in that lol, so I'm giving up on pard.
One can only be so open-minded when people throw what is from my perspective utter madness, just like the counterpart could argue the same from their perspective with respect to what I say.
Although I find "there's models that explain things, you're free to look up the information readily available" easier to digest than "I believe in winged horses flying to the moon". And don't even get me started on Pastafarianism >.<
Here's a little speech by Stephen Fry, which so perfectly envelops how I feel about religion.
