i feel most of the time your support is autofilled. meaning they aren't best at it usually. wouldn't it be easiest to climb playing support, assuming you get evenly skilled players at each position over time. you would take out the need for autofill most of your games and everyone can play their preferred position, therefor having better results over time?

I secondary pick support when I actually grind. Play something beefy that snowballs and is good damage and CC threat in the late game. Get support over half the time but I play brand, zyra, or stupid shit like Ekko, Kat, etc.. have like 80% winrate doing this.

Also autofill is on average pretty low actually. I think maybe 10% of people are autofilled.. so one each game or each every other game.

Idk how accurate that statistic is, but I am going to have to agree with him. Most of the time I don't have an auto filled support.
In fact, from personal experience I tend to get auto filled jungle more than support.

The true nightmare is actually when you have a full team of support mains autofilled in high elo, vs 1 person autofilled as support
