currently upgraded my gpu from a gtx 650 to a gtx 1050ti

thought everything would be good, randomly keep getting constant fps drops (looks like screen tearing/stuttering) on every game I play no matter which settings

specs while playing the game:

Disable windows from updating drives if on windows 10

enter safe mode
run DDU
reboot system
reinstall drivers

see if that helps

Doubtful. I mean the old card drew more power.
Did you consider formatting to rule out software or figured that was to much effort.

Seems like a lot of effort tbh, I was just wondering if there could/was anything else that could be causing this.

Just sucks, its so hard not to see it or ignore it

video of fps drop:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2rKU3Qx_r4U

This was on the lowest settings, happens on every game (every like few seconds it feels like I drop frames then it continuously does it on all games/settings)

Idk if you can see it though, but its very frustrating

I see the video starting with low fps but I see no dips after.

It may seem like a lot of work but we covered the basics.
Your temps are fine, drivers are up to date, settings in games are fine.
Your hardware is not limiting you, so yeah idk where to go from here.

Formatting would literally be the fastest way to rule out software.
If it was just 1 game I'd tell you to reinstall that game.
I guess you can try rolling back to an older version of yoru drivers.

for something like that, it is probably something do to with an app starting up in the background.

Weird, on league I sit at ~120fps when max is set at 144, as soon as I open obs I get instant 144/143fps and a occasional drop to ~high 130s

any reason why?
