But what do the voters want? That is what matters in the end. Look at the french socialists... their party members voted a true leftist that really represented their ideals, and that just scared away the moderate voters, leading to the party's worst result of all time.

Not saying it's the same case or that UK=France, just saying that what the party members might want isn't necessarily what the voters will want.

Kinda unrelated, but will the UK leave the EU in this presidents term? Or will it depend on who is elected? Or will it just never happen?

There are many factors as always but one of the worst things for May was the so called 'dementia tax'. Old people are more likely to vote Tory. Fucking them over is dumb on her part.

We don't have presidents. We're a parliamentary democracy so we have a prime minister. Brexit won't happen for another couple of years. This is our negotiating period. I think it would be hard to stop it at this stage tbh but if enough displeasure was expressed loudly enough a second referendum could be called. It's an extreme outside chance though and definitely won't happen if May wins.
