Got up and walked away fine. Amazing cage around the driver....

He was so lucky he didn't have his head scraped off by the wall... everyone on pit road looked like they had seen a ghost after it happened.

This in another video of his POV looked like he whacked his head.

Also, didn't the car go up in flames?

I'm quite impressed by the survival and already release from the hospital. You get rear ended at 20mph in a normal car and become disabled for life..

That's a 3 million dollar race car he was in. If the intake vent wasn't reinforced as well as it was, or if it wasn't even there, he would be dead right now.
