Fire golem mancer? I have no idea if the damage is any good (it does damage upon dying/being resummoned) but I know it's possible to cast the golem from inside town and have the damage connect.

Insight on the nec itself because fire golem costs an assload of mana.

it was vaguely possible in 1.09 when hp, damage and damage penalties were lower. I had a setup of high faster cast rate, level 1 fire golem and as much +mana on an all-energy build as possible. Cast amp as they run to town exit, then go into town and hold namelocked fire golem. However, the damage never updated with 1.10, it remains 100 fire 100 physical, and games aren't filled with glass walking bowazons. Nowadays, hitting someone for 28 HP after amp damage when they have 4000 HP isn't going to do anything

I had a couple over the years

barb- just max out your ww damage. whirl into town = can only die to thorns. You'll 1hit a lot of players.
necro- max out amp and your choice of either iron maiden, lower res, decrepify. then put the rest into clay golem and golem mastery. your main purpose is to cast lvl ~55 amp and curse everything on your minimap with 1 click. you also have thorns aura so anyone who hits your golem potentially kills themself in one hit. amp makes thorns aura deal more damage

sin- blade sentinel
zon- valk. I believe immolating arrow and multiple shot both hit while you're in town if you're feeling brave.
paladin- max out prayer and cleansing, equip +skills and insight then party the biggest asshole you can find.

Townsorc
Max es and tk. All points into str.

Afk in town for good. U simply cant die

I remember the days of sitting in town in bloody foothills games on HC and camoflouging fire traps just outside of town when you could hostile from town and the traps stayed lol
