On chrome you can Right click > Inspect and the dimensions are there for you. I don't use FireFox but I'm sure there is something similar to this as well.
No site/program needed.


Edit: Another option you can try is to use a Chrome add-on called "Image Size Info".
This extension is amazing I can tell you from personal experience.
