Hi! How can I build my mage so I dont die too often.
For the moment even if I manage to run to town it is still hapening for every battle I attempt. Went all points in Vitality and jumped in Catacombs straight ahead. Any advice on becoming just a little bit stronger? Thanks!!

better to start with a barb or a fighter as you have more vita.
so you can add some vita until you got 75.. then str (most likely) depending on your weapon type.

Now that I struggled to reach level 5 as mage and have found a tier II charm, fights are way easier at this point and probably will go on with this class. Thanks for advice anyway!

the problem you will run into with this is T2 will be completely ineffective very soon but who knows maybe you will be lucky
don't forget from level 5, you have 66 more levels to go!
