poebuild says xx to light dmg if you havent killed recently is better than 10% pen in my pure light build.. tested vs bosses and shaper both show more dps with xx to lightning

dont make sense cuz i always thought pen was better

it really depends, what is your penetration without the 10%?

Pen is usually better

Pen has the most effect when res is >0.

Shaper only has 40 res and ur piercing that down to 2 already with the 38% you have.

If you havnt, try inputting a monster with >48 res and see how those numbers look. Still may not pass flat but I would guess it'll be a closer. Post dets after.
