I like it so far. The viper strike hit sound effect and the poison explosion are awesome. Defense is solid at 9k es, 45% evade, forgot the block % maybe 30%, and max resists.

The problem is AoE. And also I'm just not used to using Shield Charge. This is the first time I've used it for a build. Obviously I gotta get used to shield charge since it and Whirling blades are so important these days, but the AoE issue is the main concern. The poison explosion is pretty big I guess but I think it might be the explosion doesn't trigger enough... only 20% of the time it triggers so only 20% of the time there's AoE. Know what I'm saying?

Also attack speed is kind of slow but I want to change melee phys or melee on full life for faster attacks. It's just that my armor chromed to 4 red and 2 green. I'll get it to 3 r, 3 g later. Shouldn't take more than maybe 3-4 tries (400-500 chroms) with Vorici.




I have to get merc and uber lab done as well. And the first ring i dunno why that's equipped

Nice, let me know how it works out.

Being 100% dead serious, it's terrible. I just tried a higher level map (Volcano t14) and I could barely kill a pack. In fact, I died 4 times at the first rare pack. Not kidding.

Don't do this for next league. It was fun to build, though, and didn't cost me much except for 80 regrets so it's not a big deal.

Of the bright side, almost the same tree can be used for a blade flurry build, just need to change around gems.

Hey it was worth a shot. The poison explosion thing from Occultist should be standard in the skill. That could help a lot to make it viable.

I planned on trying it before the end of the league. Working on a few builds that might be fun for 3.0 start that use mostly budget items.
Right now I'm leveling a frostblades/molten strike slayer. Molten strike is insane single target and frost blades clear shit hella fast. Should hopefully get into maps tomorrow because I level slowly.

Whatever you do, don't do Sire of Shards cyclone with Molten strike and cast on crit I gotta stop watching those videos of those goofy builds
