then shaq>lebron

53% FT shooter vs a 74% FT shooter

Thats more than double the difference between Lebron and Jordan

Read my edit. Also its not 1 free point every game. Its .8. I know you said almost, but its not almost. It comes out to a 750 point differential in Lebron's career. Affecting about 2% of his total points. Its not "huge" at all.

2% difference in free points over an entire career is huge lol

It would actually have more impact for him to improve his shooting percentage than to improve his FT percentage but whatever you say

3-5 in the finals LOL

Instead of making the finals and losing to phenomenal teams, didn't Jordan miss the finals when he faced really good teams in the earlier rounds?

Would the teams that James has lost to in the finals be considered as such? Really good, that is.

Neat.

Its funny how if James only made 3 finals and won all 3, we wouldn't even have this convo. He gets punished for making 7 LOL

That's not necessarily true at all...

The idiots think losing in the Finals is worse than missing the finals altogether.

If anyone ever uses that argument you immediately know they aren't worth responding to.

Well for every 1% he gained in shooting percentage, he would gain that multipled by his 2 and 3 point shooting PPG. I dont feel like doing the maths. For every 1% increase in FT shooting he would only gain .05 PPG. Obviously its easer to increase FT shooting percentage tho.

In simpler terms but def not 100% acurate, he would need a 2% increase in FT percentage for every 1% increase in FG percentage to keep pace.

Yeah ive always laughed at the argument. Doesnt make any sense that Jordan gets no heat for not making the finals, but Lebron gets heat for making the finals and losing lmao

The only time when Lebron's run to the Finals was really impressive is his first attempt vs Spurs. That was an amazing feat.
Everything else was just boring to watch, when u had one team that was head and shoulders above the rest in a conference that's seriously lacking in talent. Losing the Finals when u play in the East is like taking pride that u almost got laid, when the only competition besides the guy who actually got the pussy were a bunch of ginger nerds with micro dicks.
