Let's get some early, fantasy talk going.. sleepers, busts, draft strategies, value picks, etc..

My take, go rb first this year. I am a super fan of WR first pick, unless I have top 3, but there is a huge push on rbbc. Guys like zeke, d johnson, shady, Howard are must haves, and the latter 2 can most likely be picked in the second round.

In the past, I have had great success going WR/WR in my first two rounds, but the lack of starting caliber guaranteed touch rbs is diminishing. This year, I might go rb/wr/rb/wr or rb/rb/wr/wr.

Thoughts?

If you have the choice to take a 10+ point per game wr you take it these days. There are always RB'S on the wire after the first few weeks. Howard is a great example. It happens a lot more than WR's

I try to go RB/WR/WR/RB/TE/QB and then fill in the blanks.

There are SO many 10+ wrs this year... not so much on rbs. Yes there are always rbs on the wire, but a lot of them share touches in 2 and 3 back sets. I would say less than 10 teams this year have pure, 1-3 down backs, even less in passing situations.

I don't disagree. But in my opinion there's only 2 or 3 backs like that anymore. So yea if you have a chance at Zeke or Bell take it, but outside of those two there really isn't a back anymore that gets 20+ touches a game. I guess David Johnson should be on that list too but they had a lot of rbs back there too.

Bell zeke and dj should be first picks if they are there the point different from them to next tier back is huge the wr picks are deep and outside of brown the difference isnt that big imo

ive found that my rb/rb strat fails... often, due to who is available. all i can say with some certainty is that i can live with a qb super late (defense sort of depends how i feel halfway through). last year and the year before that my wr heavy 1-5 rounds did better. of course i chose AP/JC/Foster at like 1, 5, and 7 or 8.

If I have the top 1-4 picks I'm going rb first. Later in the 1st round I'm going WR unless there is a stud rb sitting.
