i believe after patch 2.5 you can't enter rainbow portals if you weren't in the game when the goblin was killed

I just read all the 2.5 and the 2.4.3 patch notes and no mention of rainbow goblins or their portals.

correct. 50 seems pretty cheap considering how lucrative the new rainbow portals are.

So where can any information about this change be found besides word of mouth? I mean...I'm not flat out doubting it, but have not seen it in any of the recent patch notes.??
I guess i could just have a buddy join a game after i've killed one to know for sure :P...but would be nice to confirm it in writing somewhere by blizz.

Haven't searched much but i can verify from own experience. There are lots of videos about it so far as i can see.
