gpu driver failure, in worst case it is your gpu itself that its failing
d3 is a mess as in the code itself, some drivers will experience issues, gpu may be overheating as well, in this case you don't really want to upgrade your driver instead you want to degrade it, revert it back to what it was or even go back to the generic windows driver, delete all d3 setting files which are located in your documents
keep in mind that most laptops weren't made for gaming, when you over heat ur system it will cause all sorts of issues, it wouldn't take much for d3 to over heat your gpu, d3 basically takes everting gpu has to offer unless you adjust your settings
D3 is cpu intensive mostly.
Op, lower your grpahics settings to low and play for a few hours.
Let us know if you have any flickering.
You might have a loose cable from display, simply take apart laptop (display connector is usually under the keyboard, take out and put back in).
Do not downgrade driver. That's the dumbest shit I've ever heard.
Drivers increase performance in most cases unless the driver is defective in which case it would be a beta driver...
Post your laptop model and we can dig into this further. Feel free to shoot me a pm if I miss coming back to the thread.
