I turned on chrome and 'usnc' downloaded in my user downloads folder, not my desktop

Using Google (what an interesting idea), It seems that it is happening to a lot of folks at a lot of different forum sites.
Mostly with Win 10 and Chrome, but on some phones as well.

Apparently, it's just a broken ad and doesn't seem to be anything more nefarious.
I would just remove it, and keep an eye on that folder in the future.


/e It also seems to happen repeatedly, as in it keeps trying to download.

/e I'm on Win 7 using Firefox. When I visit either your link above, I get a choice as to whether to download or not.
When visiting the various forums where this seems to be happening...I don't see that happening.



/ee On a side note, I always set w/e browser I'm using, to always download the the desktop.

yeah the exact same thing happened to me last night. I went to this site, http://www.crazygames.com/game/oceanario to play that free game. I didnt know if I misclicked something or not but it literally downloaded itself it seemed.

I just deleted it right away. was strange tho
