Why do you only recommend 1 point into static? I'd go 15 at least. It broken AF.
On the contrary, and since you can't cast static and fireball all at once, a 63% fcr sorceress (9 frames per cast) leaves 8 frames for any monster to regenerate.
At 0% lightning resistance (and this will not be the case), static field has no effect when current monster hp equals 1/64th of base hp.
And that means that you must be able to kill with only 1 fireball when static field stops to be effective.
Suppose a level 85 sorceress, with +2 all skills from items, and an optimized fireball at ~ 600 damage.
Target at 0% fire res : base hp > 38400 and you're not able to kill it.
Target at 50% fire res : base hp > 19200 and it's game over for your rusher.
When rushing several people at once, it's very common to meet monsters at 40K hp or more.
Firewall = success, fireball = fail.
