Typical partisanship that drives me nuts. Everyone wants their party/person to win. No one cares about independently thinking anymore. It's why Bill Clinton got a huge ovation saying he wanted to restrict illegal immigrants, but Trump does it and everyone says he's a racist. Obama was very anti-gay when he was a senator and really didn't change his mind much in 2008 and just kinda stayed quiet about it but no one called him out for being anti lgbtq.
I was really hoping someone like Kasich would win so we could try and have some common sense politics implemented. Trump could go and do the most liberal thing in the world tomorrow and libs would find a way to say it was an ulterior motive for something else.
I've never understood straight-line politics. Just have your own thoughts and support them. I'm pro gay, anti-welfare, pro obamacare, pro choice, pro tax incentives for businesses, pro solar energy, anti funding low income schools. All over the map politically, but it's how I feel so I stick to it rather than just siding with a candidate or party.
