only person killed in the Ohio incident was the perpetrator
...
and there were also no deaths or serious injuries from that incident.

and just like the 40+ years prior, no one from any of the listed countries committed a terrorist attack in the US.

so they committed terrorist attacks, they just don't count unless enough people die right? You're factually wrong on the claim
if we're going to amend the premise by changing a few words, how about lop off the 'In the US' and point out how these countries are hotbeds of terrorism and account for the majority of global terrorist attacks, and we don't want to import that.

After that you can arrest many people from the banned countries, put them in investigation, and they say they can be listed as potential terrorists, even if no victims, even if no attack was planned.
Just to please el great leader.

WHAT'S TRUE

No foreign-born terrorist from the seven countries included in President Trump's immigration restriction has been responsible for a lethal terrorist attack on American soil since 1975.

WHAT'S FALSE

The data used in the referenced chart only includes lethal attacks by (or convictions of) foreign-born terrorists on American soil and does not consider non-lethal terrorist attacks or other terrorist activity used to assess a country's threat level.

If by "enough people" you mean one.. then yeah, no one in the US has been killed by a terrorist from any of the listed countries in over 40 years, that is what I meant. Croatian terrorists have been a bigger danger than anyone from any of the listed countries. Furthermore, the law wasn't written under the advice or guidance of national security experts. In fact, people in national security advised against implementing the travel ban.
