Why the fuck is Lil Yachty popular?

It'slike he gets away with making shitty music because he pretends it's deliberately shitty for artistic purposes.

He's like a wannabe Lil B without the charm or talent.

The "underground" scene has some good rappers right now. I don't think I've heard many of Kendrick's raps but the ones I have heard I've universally hated. Maybe I'm just not getting the right tracks recommended.

He is so bad. Lol.

There are a few dudes really doing good stuff, and a lot of garbage. Schoolboy Q is pretty good. Action Bronson is like a new and relevant Ghostface.....they literally sound the same. When I first heard him I thought it was a new Ghostface album. King Los is good. As for the old guys, I like about anything Pusha T is involved in. Nas to me is the GOAT.

But I haven't been listening to rap a lot lately. I've mostly been listening to Against Me!, their new album is really good, Shapeshift with Me. Their music is just so visceral and it creates powerful affects.

Schoolboy is cool. Kanye doing THat Part live was 🔥.

Run the Jewels, Danny Brown, Death Grips, Lil Ugly Mane are other favorites in newer hip hop. Denzel Curry has some great tracks.

I haven't yet. I intend to within the next week or two. I've heard only good things about it.
