Bunch of Overwatch players coming over trying to use their 1337 FPS skills in another MOBA

Hots is not bad because of new players.

Hots is bad because their ranked system punishes veterans and rewards new players.

It took me a lot of training and time to climb from Silver to GM on my account. I watched hundreds of pro replays and tweaked my play accordingly and played thousands of games.

However what i should have done was apent $50 making a new account and roflstomped my way to GM in 1/10th the time.

The ranked system uses Unranked and QM stats to place new HL accounts. So basically a person with any MOBA experience can make an account, destroy actual new players in QM and UR for a few weeks and then go to HL and have a 5:5 record and be placed at Diamond 5+

^this... it's ridiculous...

and yet...even with this abuse squirrel is too shit to get gm now that he can't have his friends boost him on diamond 5 accounts.

Just played HL man seriously I cant believe theres so much idiots playing HL really ? this is Unreal fuck

I recently had my main silenced for a month.

During this time i broke out my old old account that I played when was a pretty brutal.MOBA player.

I did my 10 placement games and got put at gold 5.

During the following 5 weeks i brought the account from gold 5 to 3200 master points (500 off GM at the time).

The key for me was I knew for sure I was the best player in each game (because I actually am a master/GM tier player on my main acc). So i played heroes that allowed me to dictate the pace of each game.

Falstad
Guldan
ETC(before he was nerfed)
Auriel

All of those heroes allowed me to take control of the matches. I would go bribe build on falstad and just completely lock down map control while the 9 other gold players were randomly getting picked off around the map.

Im not sure what your rank is, but in bronze-platinum you dont want to be as focused on team fights. Your teammates are gonna be shit. U need to be soaking and controlling the map as much as u can while they clown-fiesta eachother

Edit: the reason guldan is good is he has great wave clear, he can win most solo lane matchups, and he is self sufficient with respect to healing you arent relying on some potato malf
