Yep, thats what our best experts are saying, yet, and they got more proof than anyone else.
Recently the amount of galaxies in observable universe was corrected to be 10 times bigger than expected, and we are waiting more data with next giant telescopes, especially the Euro one in 2024.

yea i always love when they release new images and info :)

one thing that still boggles my mind might even drive me to a mental institution one day is trying to fathom what the universe was like before the big bang. how can you visualize nothing? even darkness is something lol. does the universe already have pre set boundries and the big bang is just filling it or was our universe the size of a marble and it grew to what it is today?

It's worst than that i think it also include time and space, it's mostly a mathematical explanation based on modelizing a brutal expansion, fitting the observations. it's an expansion, and not an explosion.

Btw more disturbing in those models isnt really how it start, but how it may ends, the "cold death" universe is pretty terrible idea.

On the other hand we can stay positive, if we survive to our own conflicts, and consider the possibility we will be able to break time and space limits... And so escape that very bad situation

yea they say the universe is actually accelerating (due to dark matter perhaps) and will eventually fly apart be nothing but few burnt out stars and black holes left. what if at the end of time everything gets sucked threw these black holes or one enormous black hole which is linked to a universe waiting to be born and it all starts over again.
