We look and look, but don't look to find what is looking... And from where..

the amount of stars in the observable universe:

as much stars in our galaxy than sand grains in 1m3 (200-400 billions)
as much stars in universe than sand grains on the whole Earth.

Thats what they say. I love that pic no matter how many times i see it. Nice reminder of how small and insignificant the earth and everybody on it is.

Yep, thats what our best experts are saying, yet, and they got more proof than anyone else.
Recently the amount of galaxies in observable universe was corrected to be 10 times bigger than expected, and we are waiting more data with next giant telescopes, especially the Euro one in 2024.
