Quick rundown of the build, I'm running an 05' 350Z with a Vortech supercharger.

So the build should be displaying around 16-18psi but right now I'm getting a measly 10psi.

I'm currently pushing 494whp but I should be seeing numbers beyond that. We've smoke/boost leak tested the system to no avail.

I have a Vortech V2 Si trim with a 3.5" inlet, although the intake pipe is a 3" with a 3-3.5" coupler. Is there a possibility that this is choking my system?

I hit the 10psi mark at 5k rpm and it stays stationary throughout to 7k rpm which obviously indicates a problem with a centrifugal setup.

I could take the pipe off the inlet and test from there, but before I deal with that hassle I'd rather find out if this is the cause.

Belt slip

Forgot to mention, for the last 5 pulls, I kept tightening the belt every pull with no changes on the boost.

I'm running the Gates Fleetrunner greenback, as well as a bracket radius rod to prevent flexing.

I'm making 850whp through a 3" inlet on a D1SC so I doubt that is your issue. Boost is a measure of restriction so don't worry about it for now. With your pulley combo how.muc power should you be making?

It's a VQ, not much more than he's currently pushing....

I mean, we don't know what else he has done.

I hope what's listed isn't the only modifications.
If he's running on stock injectors, imma laugh my ass off.
He'll pop the motor pulling it off the dyno.

I honestly had to doublecheck if he was on a dynapak or not.
Everyone knows those are happy lil faggots that lie to your face about numbers.

To be humble, around 560 and my goal was 600. With boost not rising past 5k rpm, I could only conclude either belt slip or a restriction somewhere. With a boost leak test, my system was fine tested at 25 psi @ the gauge on the manifold so that couldn't be the issue.

Fully built bottom end, 11:1 compression on 2150cc injectors and a single Walbro 485. Injectors are a bit overkill, but I also only run strictly E85 with a dry nitrous system in the works.

I really want to get dyno'd on a loaded setup but there's none available within 50 miles since I preferred less dyno time and a more thorough tune.
