harvey's been pitching relatively well but he's in a peculiar position coming off thoracic outlet surgery. That's a scary spot for anyone to get surgery, but especially a pitcher. The brachial plexus runs around that area and that's essentially all of the nerve supply for your upper extremities (i.e. both motor + sensory supply for your upper body. Imagine that got fucked up for a pitcher. Bad News).
Noah was scratched due to biceps tendonitis earlier today, so TC decided to move Harvey up last minute. That's not the greatest idea for a pitcher coming off of major surgery. The mets really need to fire Terry.
He made terrible decisions last year but kept his job because the sheer talent on this team carried us to a world series appearance two years ago. hopefully this losing streak continues for a bit and he gets the axe.
But in the meantime just FYI fade mets for a bit. Or don't bet on them. The books haven't seem to have adjusted yet because people are still betting on them even as heavy favorites. But that might change with cespedes going to the DL today
