sound quality shouldn't be a factor
how much audio equipment you're trying to hook up to it is though

or nonexistent even yeah
i dont recall sound cards having better 'quality' than onboard since the early 2000's, they have long ago fixed the issue of interference.
Nowadays it's just for audio engineers and whatnot, people who have elaborate sound systems and a lot of stuff they need to hook up

If the Headset is USB it won't matter at all.

Really depends on what headphones you use, What software you want to use with the card, Unfortunately neither post detailed spec's at all.

I'm thinking I won't notice the difference. If I was running speakers the sound card might be bettee

Which on its own is still pretty useless.

All depends on how the chips are implemented, The output resistance, mw @ x ohm

etc.
