Ok I got that. Now for pagefiling. I have 2 hdds 1 is 7200 sata3 (has the os on it) other is pata 5400 . Should I have page file on same hdd as os ( sata 7200) or a seperate hdd (pata5400)??

Leave it on the 7200 rpm HDD.

No. Just set the minimum and maximum size ot the page file to ...say...2048MB

I havr 1gb of ram... still set pagefile to 2048 min and max?
