It was fairly new, probably released somewhere from 2009-2014 (give or take)

I never saw the movie, only the trailer. Takes place in modern, suburban America. It appeared to be about a family whose kid was missing (presumably kidnapped). I think the kid was a girl, but not sure. I seem to remember there were 2 families that lived on the same street who were talking and/or working together to solve the situation. The lead actor was a fairly famous man. I think there was a scene with RV on a rainy night and the father was banging on the sides of the RV trying to get inside.

Any guesses? I'll recognize the movie for sure if I can see the trailer. But I won't recognize it by any details that weren't in the trailer.

one question though ... how did the black girl know that Hugh Jackman had been at the house they were being kept?

They were drugged but could hear his voice still through the walls
