well it's not as big in scale as those open worlds, but it's still a decent size.
lots of people tend to complain the bigger an Open World gets the less there is to do. (i feel the Size of Automata is pretty good in relation the content within it)
also some quests can't be done unless you explore the map and find them.

Nier:Automata is definitely worth picking up if you're into story or music.

At first I didn't enjoy the music, eventually it grew on me and i ended up loving it. Not a big fan on some of the vocals though.

Tempted to play this in easy mode to get through the story in one weekend. Bad idea?

normal difficulty is already easy mode. Just take your time with it or rush it either way you'll be crying

Emil has a huge backstory that Nier Automata barely touches.
