statistics say i win much more games going 2nd
so im the fucking god of going 2nd
or other people just struggle going first i guess

Yes that's exactly how statistics work. Take an incredibly small sample size then use it to form your opinion even if it's an outlier.

really thought my rogue deck was getting me 6+ wins
my last 2 losses were extremely close games

Better than me recently...

Out of last 10 arena runs, 1 has been good, 3 have been 100% my fault, and 6 have been a mix of my fault and pretty unfortunate pulls (both in cards and in curve offered by RNG).

Added a 5 mage and 3 shaman.
My last 2 losses on the shaman run I had less than 10 cards and needed to pull volcano to clear the board and leave him with whatever 1 card he draws next turn
I didnt pull volcano... then i open my pack after the run and get 1 volcano and 1 golden volcano ..... .. .. . . . .. .. ... .

Perhaps you should consider using heartharena to help you draft? Or at least a deck tracker if you arent already.

Arena is all about getting all the little advantages you possibly can against your opponents after all.


Im no pro at arena, but Im fairly good i think (around a 6.0 this expansion), those numbers are quite low, you're obviously netting a loss in gold. I would recommend checking out heartharena if you haven't already.

I think around 4 wins is breaking even.
Not sure though.. it's just what I feel is a fair trade for 150 gold. Usually a pack (100) and 30-50 gold with some dust or a card.

I do have heartharena but I don't follow it 100%
I found that following hearth arena I was frequently drafting attrition type decks and they are my least favorite to play
also my 8 win rogue was without hearth arena.
I actually drafted that rogue after staring at one of kripps drafts. I noticed a key difference in his drafts compared to mine.
He had maybe 4-5 1 cost cards and 4-5 2 cost cards in what seemed like a curvestone deck. I usually have that many 2 cost cards, but it isn't often that I have more than 1 1 cost card that is not a spell.


I do use a deck tracker. It is extremely useful.

What guys do you think are the best classes for arena?
I really thought paladin would be good but I don't even want to try again.
