my ignore list to filter out salty spambots worked fine all the time

but all of a sudden i see every spam incoming.
i did not change anything, though.

i quadruple checked the whole list for new terms and all that
like from y-e-s-g-a ...... to y esga

filled in new phrases etc. like i did before, but as I mentioned...without changing anything it doesnt even filters the things which got filtered before.

follow the instructions in link above

Open ignorelist file in your D2 install directory with notepad

paste the list from http://pastebin.com/qFzA5aY5 and save

I dont know , When I reinstalled I ran the ignore persist and just copied my prev ignorelist file from backup and it worked fine
Ad to add a few new ones but no biggie

have you actually doublechecked that the spam you receive is on the list?

well as you may have noticed, filtermsg works on phrases not on accounts

Have you disabled it by accident? type /ignorepersist and make sure it's enabled

Also make sure you haven't changed the associated file type of the ignorelist file or the game won't be able to read it

Try adding this List (i dont see any bot spam anymore ;P

Ignorepersist only disable/enable accounts ignored, not strings.

Double check your ignorelist file so you havent associated it with notepad (ignorelist.txt)
