pls don't do what montecristo did and forever get banned/fired from working at rito again by being TOO open
let's not forget - it's a top organization, and it's an american company - they care about their egos and it can get hurt pretty easily
also, it's coming from a society where tips is expected at restaurants/bars where waitresses cry about not getting free money or not enough of it (tips are not expected in asian countries)

the only way to succeed at these big companies is to: look good (this is absolutely #1 and i'm not trolling here),
be friends with the right people (#2),
and do work that is at least acceptable (doesn't have to be amazing work - this is last priority)
these "hot shit" companies only really care about looking good tbh (from personal experience)

Tips are not required in many many countries not just Asian lol. The French have a saying to remind Americans that they don't have to tip. I can't remember it off the top of my head atm though.

from my ex rioter friend, it's a great place to be, but not a great place to work. there's a lot of perks if you can put up with the people who are completely incapable of being there, but at the same time there's a handful of talent, which also leads to large egos

idk. sounds like every company ever to me, but maybe the egoists run a little more rampant here

would explain the way they treat their player base

Tip already included in the bill

Because people are d*cks so they have to force them to pay the tip

seeing as how you're probably 11 years old and have probably never payed for anything, ever, you wouldn't know this.

but, they can't force anyone to tip. they just pay their staff well enough that they don't need to tip.

The food costs do go up, but I'd much rather pay a little more on my bill than be forced to tip. Especially since servers will get mad if you don't tip even if their service sucks. Like listen Becky, you brought me the wrong drink and the wrong food. You ain't getting SHIT.

They do it because they don't want to pay them slave wages. Hell in California servers that get tipped still make like 8 bucks an hour. The federal minimum wage for those same workers is like 2.50.
