what would you recommend and why?

unless dayz standalone has gotten better play dayz epoch the mod instead and h1z1 is filled to the teeth with bugs. its kinda a lose lose between the 2. if your looking for the survival aspect then prolly h1z1 since it has building and whatnot.

I would go for h1z1, but actually instead if your going for the king of the kill (Last man standing) i would go for unknowplayer battlegrounds, much more fun and better game..!!
