Today in Israel we mention the holocaust, our memorial day.
I'm not gonna cry about it, its not that kind of post.
What I do want to mention is , that after all those brave declerations stating "no more" and "never again" we keep going back at the same mistakes.
Check what's happening in Syria for example, people are beeing killed by the mass and the best we can do is lunch some rockets at random bases.
I mean even my own country ,after beeing through those horrors can't do (or even worse, wont do) nothing to help those people..
This makes absolutely no sense.
Do you think we have changed since then ? or there ' s nothing new and life goes on ?
It seems to me that we are the same self centered indeviduals who wont lift a finger to go out of our comfort zone.

The world is a pretty fucked up place. Things that are going on now are pretty bad, but not nearly as bad as the Holocaust.

The problem is that nobody really knows how to solve the issues we're facing today. If there was a clear answer, we'd go in with boots on the ground, guns blazing, and then put the pieces back together in a way that works. But we don't know what that looks like, so we just have to wait and do what we can from a distance.

A good way that you can help as an individual is to donate to relief efforts. There are lots of charities/non-profits that send food and other necessities into war zones; you might want to look into some options with regards to financially helping such causes.

See israel in 2014 using phosphorus bombs and killing 500 children in occupied territory.
And look asshole-netanyahu threatening people with nuclear weapons.

You dont need to check out Syria or whatever "war zones" outside.

Yea. Who'd have thought that in this day and age people could be forced out of their homes and treated as second class citizens by an ethno-ideological group determined to remove them from their country? It's like you learned nothing.
