Only need router now. Lined up a sb6141 for $35 :)

Dual band only ofc.

That's a great deal tho zwix. Might consider if no one can find a router that is lower prices than the combo.

you can obv get much cheaper.

also i think xfinity is starting to use DOCSIS 3.1 but it really doesn't matter.

Router too pricey. Have a modem lined up to trade tonight for $35.

Looking for sub $70 if possible.

Just go to best buy and get a docsis 3.0 modem that's on sale, and a router that has wireless ac. I've used lot of routers off of even charter/comcast cable modems, and the only difference I've noticed between the $80 routers and the $200 routers is the range. Unless you have fiber optic, any wireless ac router won't be anywhere close to the bottleneck of your system.
Personally I have a Linksys ac1200, and I can get usable signal up to about 40' outside of my house. I have an Archer T9E wireless card in my desktop, and I've never lose connection with my router in the last 2 years of owning them, ever. Only piece that gives out is the modem connection, and again that's the shitty charter modem I have (it's free with charter).
