Hey,

Been having some trouble with my internet recently, i rent a room in a house so it might be too many people on the router but im not sure (9 people at any given time on one router).

Basically what happens is i can play games and be on steam just fine. (runescape/league or whatever)

whenever i use a browser it says websites server DNS address could not be found. (ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED). it says check your firewall(i did) all ports are open. and outgoing traffic is allowed. It also says check to see if you are connected to the internet. Now i know the internet is working because ill be in a game while trying to do this and it still won't work.

any ideas?

e/ also should note i am not the only one in the house who has this problem. My friend also is seeing the same issue here and he lives here as well.

Open start menu, type cmd in the search box

Right click command prompt and pick run as administrator

Run the following command: ipconfig /flushdns

See if that helps

E/ if that doesn't help try unplugging your router and plug it back in after a few seconds.
