Now ask the same question but hardcore.. Doubt anyone here has done more than shaped strands lul

Or even plays. We'll just get the even small[er] percentage of people who go "Me ughbah. Ughbah strong. Ughbah hardcore play. Ughbah strong. Ughbah beat chest now."

Not to be shitty.. But I think the game should definitely NOT be balanced with hardcore player focus... I think they can be taken into account.. but.. cmon..

If everything was balanced around hardcore there would be no mechanics...

That being said..

If a player.. so chooses to play the game under harder circumstances... they shouldn't complain when parts of the game are more difficult / their character is limited, as they purposely, self-imposed that limitation from the beginning.

I just think he was stroking the "hc vs sc" ego

all hc players do that. they for some reason look down upon sc players while they believe they are on some mighty high pedestal.

I'm kind of adamant about doing all content in a game.

When I made the Stampede the build, I was kind of bummed it couldn't do 2 of the 4 guardians and shaper/atziri/uber because of the limitations of a vaal skill as a boss killing skill. But the vast majority of my other PvE characters are able to do all content.

JSP has always been ahead of the curve in terms of player skill for pretty much every game it supports as Sh00p said. You don't just stumble upon jsp. So our polls do not represent the general player base. Even a reddit strawpoll with massively more votes wouldn't represent the community well enough. People who constantly browse the PoE reddit have a vested interest in the game that urges them to read and learn about the game outside of their actual playtime. Those players will tend to be better than your real average player too.
