If you are set to get 5.1 right now and your budget is tight might as well get 6 of these:
https://www.parts-express.com/dayton-audio-b652-air-6-1-2-2-way-bookshelf-speaker-with-amt-tweeter-pair--300-651

And pair them with these:
https://www.parts-express.com/dayton-audio-sub-1200-12-120-watt-powered-subwoofer--300-629
http://www.accessories4less.com/make-a-store/item/denavrs510bt/denon-avr-s510bt-5.2-ch-x-70-watts-bluetooth-a/v-receiver/1.html

I would still stay you are better of starting with AA Monitor pair and building it from there when your budget allows.

thanks for that suggestion, but why 6 monitor speakers and 1 sub? if it is a 5.1 setup that means 5 speakers and 1 subwoofer

not 6 speakers and 1 sub? is that because that receiver is a 5.2 setup and the extra subwoofer channel can be used to power another monitor speaker? if so, i think the 6th speaker would be difficult to place in a good location?

They are sold in pairs, so you cant buy 5 of them. So you will buy 6 and use 5 of them. For front stage it is important to have matching L C R speakers and there is no center speaker to pair with those that would be 100% match.

oh lol, yea i should i have read how many were sold for the price. i thought it said per speaker.....

what do you mean by there is no center speaker that matches? would this work?

https://www.parts-express.com/dayton-audio-c452-dual-4-1-2-2-way-center-channel-speaker--300-453

I mean if i am supposed to put the 5th speaker in the center, a bookshelf speaker seems somewhat weird? for the center i think the c452 should be good enough? they dont all have to match? like on that website they have a bundle that has 2 of the bookshelf 652 for front, and 2 452 bookshelf for the rear. they mix and match a bit

Well it will work, but it isnt perfect match. There is nothing wrong using bookshelf or even tower speaker as center if you have room for it.

Either you dont know shit or want to troll, what I have seen I think the latter.

Having matched center ensures that your front stage is even and the sound quality is even. When they are not matched you might end up with situation when either LR / C dominates the sound stage or in some sound areas the difference in sound quality will be really apparent and starts to annoy you. Of course it is possible to mix speakers but it is not adviced as there are risks you dont get good results.

Receiver will take care of level differences and delays caused by distance but it cannot fix limitations of speakers. If it could why would any one buy anything else than cheapest speakers as your receiver could make them sound as any other speaker? It is you who needs to pull the head out of bulls arse.
