I could rationalize any BPA pick for this draft because of how loaded this class is for the areas of need for GB. Secondary is the most obvious answer, but I'm beginning to side with the rest of the unruly fans and am looking for an aggressive draft for impact players that can make a difference immediately. Trading up to grab bigger names is typically not the Theodore Thompson way, but the Clay/Raji draft proved that he isn't afraid to move up aggressively to secure the guys on his board.

Names I would like to see on Day 1:

King
Watt
Harris
Davis
Cunningham
Humphrey
McCaffrey

CB, Edge rushers and ILBs are obvious needs based on our departures during the offseason and if somehow Christian falls to us, I could even see the value there. Like I said, really hard to go wrong in the first as some need will be addressed. I also have a man crush on Tyus Bowser as he would be so valuable to our front 7

As a browns fan I'm worried.. they tend to make bad picks but I'll be happy if they hold off picking a qb for later better than right away..

I hope the Browns do brown things and pick Trubinsky #1. No point in wasting Garret's career

well if jeremy hill can get his shit together i wouldnt want him. but with gio coming off injury and hill being hill lately. burkhead gone, we need a RB. i like him best out of all rbs on talent alone tbh

Preferably a focus on the defensive side of the ball for the majority of the early rounds. ILB and DT are the two big holes. I'd like to see an attempt to draft a RT late, but I won't cry if we don't. My hope is that we don't trade up/reach for a RB. If one falls to us at BPA, sure, but ideally we'd be able to focus more on LB and DL, with some flexibility towards drafting BPA if it comes up WR, CB/S, or OL.

Agree with your list for the most part. You don't think we need to address our o-line at all? I wouldn't mind taking Lamp because I'm scared shitless at the thought of starting Barclay...

Defensive line and offensive line picks on Day 1 have been notoriously bad and haven't improved in my lifetime. I'll stick with the positions I know we can D&D

Redskins (only first two rounds)

Do: CB, pass rush AND/OR Dline, or BPA if someone falls....

Don't: peppers - heard a scouting report saying he's basically a more athletic Cravens and that's not a need with a 1st rounder.

don't: Foster - don't need MLB anymore

Other donts: WR, safety, qb, rb, MLB
