I've been wanting to do a playthrough with a friend, we were thinking about going dual Auradin.
The aura stacking mechanics on -one- paladin (dream/dragon etc) are quite clear to me. However I find very little information on the mechanics regarding damaging aura's when -two- paladins are in play.
We did some testing but without any clear results.

Does anyone know how for example two paladins with both Holy Fire aura's on interact with eachother? Will the damage stack, will the pulses simply go off independantly or will they cross eachother out?
I found no increase in pulse frequency during testing, but it are all guesstimations. Hope someone can clarify :)

Afaik only auras use by one char that affect another's stats will overwrite the lower level.

Eg:

if a hdin is partied with a bowazon using a pride merc, his conc will overwrite the pride's conc and the bowa will use his conc aura for enhanced damage

If a full foh duels a VT his higher Conviction aura will cancel out the VT's conv aura
The VT will suffer from the -res of the FoHers conv, the Foher will not he affected by the VT's conv aura

Thanks for the reply, and yes this is true. But these are player beneficial aura's, i really want to know how damaging auras eg. holy fire/shock work.
It has been confirmed that stacking a holy shock + holy fire on -one- paladin doesnt cancel one or the other. But 2 paladins using holy fire of the same level, how will that work?

I dont think 2 damage auras will cancel each other out

One way to test is get 2 VTs
Get one to drop his shield or any +skill item(s) to lower his Holy Freeze lev less than the other VT's

Have the 2 hostile an both use holy freeze and you'll see

Afaik for holy fire/freeze/shock it is char depended. As the aura applies for the user and no one else.

Really?

Turn on Holy fire on a pala. Put a barb next to him. Bet the barb doesn't get +fire damage.

They work independently. Fana/Might/Conc etc go to your team. Fire/Light/Cold are all singular auras with damage pulses.

Radial damage is applied to hostile targets within radius once every two seconds. If a target is within the radius of multiple auras, then the radial damage of all of them is applied.

The 2 second timer runs in the background of the game of which all aura pulses are activated by
