My argument isn't really against Jordan, but it's more just saying that his teams were stacked. Similarly to Lebron, Jordan didn't have a lot of support in his first 6 years or so. Then, once he did, he won a lot. The difference against Lebron of course is that the Heat lost to the Mavs, but keep in mind that Jordan had a pretty stacked team and still lost to the Pistons, three times in a row in the playoffs til finally sweeping them in 1991 when the pistons finally had a diminished team.

Basically, do you think Jordan is overrated because his titles probably wouldn't have happened without the stacked teams of the early 90s and the addition of Rodman and others for the last 3 championships?

Yes, he has been overrated.

And a lot of it has to do with his product line, the Jordan brand, the "legacy" that lives on. The longer he has been retired, the more god like his reputation has become.

LeBron is equally as good, if not better, than Jordan was. But he's an active player now, which doesn't serve him as well. His reputation will be far greater once he's retired and in the HOF, versus now when he's an active player.

He's just the legend. Win a 3 peat, retire. Come back, win another.
And when he was getting ousted in the first round the motherfucker scored 40 a game on good %. In the finals, he played great. He made the iconic shots.
For his entire Bulls career, he was DPOY worthy as a guard. His game was complete. He should've had at least two more MVPs during his reign but people got tired and voted for others instead.

Lebron, sure, he's getting there, but lets wait until he's retired to look at his COMPLETE body of work. He's on pace to rival Jordan as the GOAT, yes, but he's not there yet.
