you should take them to the groomers at least once per week if you want them to have long hair and learn how to brush them properly at home! :)

also you shouldn't bathe them at home unless you have a cool aired hairdryer and brushing skills. a lot of people just think that they can bathe them at home and let them air dry but doing that just makes the hair get matted and if you don't know how to untangle mats then you'll be right back at the groomers to get your pup shaved down! ;)
