Hey guys,

I'm looking to spend a $500 Best Buy gift card that I have - getting them to price match so I won't be ripped off.

I'm a casual gamer, play mainly Path of Exile, Diablo 3, and Steam games (CSGO DOTA etc.) - so nothing too demanding.

Current PC built 4-5 years ago - https://pcpartpicker.com/list/NYCrHx

I'm currently thinking of getting:

SSD - SanDisk Ultra II 240GB SATA III 2.5-Inch 7mm Height Solid State Drive (SSD)
GPU - EVGA - FTW Edition NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 8GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 Graphics Card - Black

RAM could use an upgrade for sure as well - but not too pricey to do at a later time.

I know my build all around could be upgraded but would these provide the biggest improvement for gaming performance.

Thank you for any advice/opinions.

I doubt they carry anything worth price matching though.
Could be wrong but I mean best buys I've been to are a joke.

Yeah i was fairly surprised when looking online - they do carry the 2 items listed above as well as cpu/ram/mobo and stuff - I don't know how much they actually keep in stores.

From what I can tell they are marked up quite a bit but I've had them price match other types of items in the past with no problem.

You're better off getting a wicked sound setup from there for your tv

Best buy has always been a joke to me too. Haven't been in like 8 years tho
