I am aware of his scalings, I am just not sure if spellthief is worth over coin early against most ranged supports.

If you are aware of his scaling and still go coin something is wrong

Think about him as Bard, u wouldnt go coin on bard

I feel bard to be much easier to poke with and earn money. His range on both Q and basic are bigger than Rakan's.
I guess you could W-aa-Q-E back for 3 procs I guess

I agree with keo tbh. Ive tried a few builds also and i dont think going pure tank is the way forward. I feel a karma/nami/janna/lulu ish type build is better (more heals/shields) than tanking damage

Coin is not for mobility, its for cdr, and for income with zero effords

Coin is for champ that stay inlane, like babysitters
frostfang is for champs, that global Kaboom from river, like Teemo


my Heimer support, like Teemo, can proc frostfang 3times in 0.0666seconds
still, he use Coin, since cdr is big

some champs, like morgana, also benefit good from frostfang
yet, my trollcrank support like Coin over relic/frostfang


thinking 5/10AP is what you pick frostfang over something else, since AP scalling, i would say, study your AP-effects wizly before calling it a gamebreaker

That's for sure.
I was just unsure about support item being spellthief or coin for better gold income and engage potential with his movement speed steroid coming from ult.
I tried him with redemption, ardent, zeke's and it worked pretty well.
I think I had 0/0/10 and 0/0/11 in only 2 games I played if score means anything^^

or you can roam to mid lane as support together with your jungler/ad in certain moments and with Active from Talisman of Ascension make a faster and better impact on getting a kill + perhaps a potential turret on mid
Sure you can do it with Frost Queen's Active as well by slowing enemy mid laner's movement speed, but Talisman is not only viable for supports sitting on lane and not doing shit. We ain't discussing Janna here atm

but your where calling the tier3 support items with there tier1 names

tier3 support items are bad
tier3 support items, without sightstone in it, are even worse
