I'm actually looking forward to the robots doing everything future, I just hope we don't go too crazy with AI's, that's a Great Filter event waiting to happen.
Gonna be fun to learn how to build/program/maintain them, but once I do they will maintain me. Why would wealth redistribution be necessary at that point? It will be a true utopia built on the back of slaves that feel no oppression or pain.

Unless you think robotics and machine language aren't going to be as integral to education then as written/spoken language is now, in which case... you're simply wrong. Everyone's going to have robots not just the top 1% and no one will have to go without. Eventually anyway, billions will probably have to die in the transition to an automated society it will be a hard transition but such is life.

robots will take over the work force ? was the idea in the 90's. Japanese and others built fully robotic factories. But then they concluded that is better to have human workers + hand held sophisticated machines. This is how it works today.

For flexibility and adaptability purposes. A fully robotic factory needs to be rebuilt from scratch for a new product. The slightest change at the product is a horrible headacke for the engineers.
