There's a 30 dollar difference ( about 10 percent of cost ) here in Canada .

Performance difference out of the box is about 10 percent as well.

The 1600 comes with a cooler and 1600x doesn't but I already have an h60 which should bolt on from my understanding

Seems like the best 1600x is the best option ?

Probably going to wind up with an 8 GB 480 or 580.

If 1070s drop in price I'd consider one .

16 GB ram

I already have 2 x 850 Evo hds so I'm good there

I have a corsair hx 850w psu

For the 30 dollar price difference I don't really care either way.
But if the 1600 can be overclocked easily and to the same level as a 1600x it doesn't seem worth it .

If the 1600x overclocks better or easier I'd probably go that route
