So far Trump has shown himself to be deliberate and measured in using military force... additionally he's walked back some of the harmful foreign policy statements he's made in the past(NATO is obsolete, One-China policy is up for debate, Assad doesn't have to go, Mexico will pay for the wall, etc).

Furthermore, he's surrounded himself with a great foreign policy team. He's listening to them.
