I`m looking to modify this website:

What i want is some parts are hidden if you have not logged in and have been verified all i want shown is gyms and pokestops so people can see its working.
or totaly disable the setting and replace it with a big fat button that says Login to see pokemons or something.
ofcourse i need this linked up to a database (guess thats on my end) that people can register into aswell.
Some pointers after completion with pointing it to databases and similar would be apreciated.

Wow so you want to take free, open source script and put it behind a paywall? What a scummy thing to do.

This would be illegal as per the license distributed with the repository.

Which license is it under? I didn't read anything in the repo. You'd have to change it considerably and even then it's unethical.

You can add paywall to it, but 1) you must release any changes to source code you made, ALL of it, 2) keep the same license, 3) list all changes to the code.

Now that I think, it's perfectly fine to do, since anyone coming to the site can decide if he wants to use original, free version (since he will know its just a modified copy) or pay him to use altered version on his hosting.
