sweet thanks, now i just need to measure and figure out where to put in my truck lol, i dont think it will fit behind my seat since its 4" wide

24x14x4"

Looks like I can only fit an amp thats 13" wide underneath my front passenger seat and it's a powered seat which wouldn't work that well. I only have 2" of depth between the rear seat and back of truck.
I might have to consider running a 1 amp system which I can mount inside the sub box as long as it's smaller than 11" x 15". This would power the front components and sub, rears would be hooked up to HU.

also takes away from displacement though and can effect tuning if its ported, I don't think I like the idea of extra heat in a sealed box tbh and for the record mdf wood sucks if you get that box wet it will be done for

I like sundown but those speakers need more depth, 4.5" mounting depth so that wont work in the box, and you cant make a ring for them because you would hit the floor on excursion (recommended 1.5" clearance)

ts amp should work just fine ik lots of guys running that stuff

so that being said u may have to make feet for you back seat to get the height I know some of those prefab companies may work with you

And for the record theres nothing I hate more then a component speaker, get some eminence alphas!

I have a phoenix gold sd series 800.4 that ive been very happy with it so far, works good for the workin truck"

everythings just about gone class d so highs amps aren't as outrageous as they once were when u would look at 1000$ a/b amps lol

where do you live, it might be a good idea for you to head to a few car audio forums and look for a builder, u will get more box and not spend a whole lot more then u already are I figure

Chicagoland area. There is no way I'm paying somoene $300 to make a custom box. If someone could make a decent box for similar price of the pre-fab one, that would be fine. I can't fit large subs unfortunely in my truck unless I want to take up seating space which I won't.

I was able to find 3 small amps that could fit in narrow places (behind rear seat or under passenger seat) and power my components.

https://www.ctsounds.com/collections/amplifiers/products/m-75-4
https://www.ctsounds.com/collections/amplifiers/products/m-300-2

I know I can't have a truly impressive system due to the restrictive space and being limited to what parts I can buy, but it would be a huge improvement to my current shitty setup.

Have u considered doing something like that?

I'm just trying to give you better options, ur gonna be disappointed with shallow mounts I think

The m300 is 2channel just FYI

Again don't have experience but skar and ctsounds are supposed to be decent company's

A box is a big part of the equation I mean you could buy some team series subs and put em in a shitty box and they wouldn't sound good.. I guess at least in a sealed box u may get some of the lows u gonna miss with a shallow mount sub but to me it's practically wasting money to do a build like a this

And considering in the first post you on a 1500$ budget I'd rather see you get a good box and better subs.. prefab boxes are junk mdf wood is junk

Ya, I'm not interested in removing seat space unfortunately. I could technically make my own box which might allow me to fit a deeper sub. A family member could help me since they are a decent woodworker.

I wonder if there's even mounting height to be gained without raising the seat, u should figure out how much space you have

I have definitely 7" between the floor and seat. I might be able to push 7.5" which may raise the seat a tiny bit.
