This is what I have picked out so far. Any tips/recommendations?

1: What is the Year, Make, and Model of the vehicle. 2016 ChevY Colorado Z71 Crew Cab without BOSE system
2: What is your budget? $1500
3: What exactly do you want your outcome to be? (Good sounding music, or loud bass?) Good/Tight/Sounding Music
4: And specific sub sizes that you prefer more than others? 2x 10" Shallow
5: How much trunk space do you want to use up? Putting underneath back seat
6: What type of features are you looking for in a CD Player (aka Head Unit)? (Ex: USB, AUX, BlueTooth, etc) OEM Headunit
7: What type of music do you listen to? Metal/Rock
8: Is your stock stereo system amplified? (You may or may not know this) No
9: Do you have Steering Wheel Controls? (Volume/Seek on the steering wheel) Yes

Not sure what type of AMP I should get to go with Morel. I would like one large enough to add rear speakers to it. I had a guy recommend Phoenix Gold amp - http://www.woofersetc.com/c-3-amplifiers/c-28-two-channel/p-469-x1002-phoenix-gold-2-channel-250w-rms-xenon-series-amplifier.html

subwoofers won't fit. 5 inch mounting depth on subs and only 3.5 inch mounting depth on box.

ah shit, thanks for cathcing that.

Now I'm looking for 8" subs that are <3.5"

Would prefer highest quality, dont mind spending up to $300 for 1 nice 8" sub to go with http://subthump.com/Chevrolet-GMC-Custom-Subwoofer-Boxes/ColoradoCanyon/New-20152016-ColoradoCanyon-Crew-Cab-Compact-Under-Seat-Enclosure-wAmp-Shelf.html

If there are no good setups for that, might have to stick with dual 10"

If I did go with an 8" sub, I'd have to find an amp that is smaller than 7.5" x 9"

Why not do like 4 of the x6.5s? I've heard good things, ur not gonna slam 25hz but u should know that already looking at shallow mounts

Also kicker has some efficient and small amps, but ur definitely not gonna get much power out of such small packaging

Pictures of the backseat and folded up with some gauge of measurement would be nice, imo ur not gonna get much out of a prefab box

Why not just loose the back seat and get loud... I wish I had a 4dr :(

Well, I'd like to have seats in my truck =] I can fit a box underneath the rear seats. Either I go with an 8" sub which will still sit inside the plastic tub underneath the seat or I go with dual 10" which would replace the plastic tub and sit underneath the seat. Look at the links from below for a reference on how it would look.

I feel like measuring it to specifics will be a pain in the ass since it's not like its sitting in a trunk where I could make my own box with ease. The subs must be <3.5" mounting depth.
As for the amps, I can probably mount them behind the seat vertically. There is about 2" of space between the seat and the plastic. Kicker subs seem like the only quality ones that are <3.5" besides the $600 Alpine Type-R sub.

how much space with the tub removed?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7VpaoT678sU would be your loudest option, but obviously prefab wont be an option but this is the best way to get loud lol

Id take that tub out for sure, I mean ur just not going to get much output out of a prefab and a shallow mount

Omg that's crazy. Ya if I wanted to spend quite a bit I'd do that. Was wondering y they doubt mount them out like that since u can have deeper subs if u do.
